John’s pop passes away. He comes back to address the situation. He drops by Savannah’s house to see how she’s been, only to damage his heart as he discovers out that she is’s married to Tim. That’s the instant when John eventually realizes the ultimate meaning of love - which is to put their contentment before your own.
